Davenport Christian School Partners with The Classical Homeschool group. This group meets on Mondays at the school. Students participate in memory work, science experiments, art projects and other activities that bring life to ordinary studies.

This partnership allows for homeschool students as well as DCS to share resources in a mutually beneficial way.

 Students meet one day a week. They work through a classical curriculum with a strong emphasis on the grammar stage of learning. Students memorize a large amount of facts and dates in preparation for the upper grades.

This model allows parents to homeschool while having the additional benefits of accountability, structure and peer interaction that a school provides.
